Born Sept. 17, 1995, Patrick Lavon Mahomes lived in Tyler, Texas with his parents. Pat and Randi Mahomes- (m. 2006.) and his siblings Jackson Mahomes and Mia Randall. Pat being a former major league baseball pitcher and football. During Patrick Mahomes junior year of high school, he was a starting quarterback and was very good at baseball as well. During his senior year, he threw 4,600 yards (because of this, coaches believed he would have a future in baseball). He was offered to be drafted to the Detroit Tigers baseball team, but he refused, and instead, enrolled into Texas Tech back in 2014.

     Patrick Mahomes continued to play baseball, hoping he would make it into the MLB draft. When he made it into the starter football team in his sophomore season, however, he discontinued pursuing baseball and instead pursued the NFL draft. Patrick Mahomes was soon drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017, and began his professional football career when he went against the Denver Broncos. He was known as the second quarterback in NFL history to throw 50 touchdowns and 5,00 passing yards, as well as being named as the NFL’s Most Valuable Player.

     In February of 2020, Mahomes played in his first Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers, and won the championship, with the score of 31-20. He was named Super Bowl LIV (54) MVP, and two years later, married Brittany Mahomes.

     In February of 2023, Mahomes won against the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35, and secured his second Super Bowl victory.
